FIRE SAFETY DOCUMENTATIONS
FIRE SAFETY DOCUMENTATIONS FOR OBTAINING FIRE SAFETY APPROVAL & FIRE SAFETY LICENSES
The fire safety permit is requested by the urbanism certificate, in the situations in which the objective to be developed, in view of the legislation in force, requires the approval of the Inspectorate for emergency situations (firefighters).
This approval is issued by the accredited institutions based on the following documents issued by the specialized designers:
- Fire safety scenario;
- Technical architectural project (highlighting the fire-resistant construction elements);
- Technical project of electrical installations with a role in fire safety;
- Technical project of sanitary installations with a role in fire safety;
- Technical project of ventilation installations with a role in fire safety;
- Verification reports and attestations / verification credentials;
The following documents are also added to the documents listed above: property deeds, town planning certificates, water and sewer permit (where applicable).
If all the documents listed above are prepared in order to comply with fire safety legislation, then the Emergency Inspectorate will issue a fire safety approval for the building to be developed.
The fire safety license is obtained after the completion of the construction works.
The first stage during obtaining the PSI license is the reception of works on site.
At this stage, the commission from the Inspectorate for emergency situations, checks in the field if the installations with fire safety role, work properly with the prescriptions of the legislation in force.
Then it is checked, also in the field, if the installations with fire safety role have been executed in accordance with the prescriptions from the technical projects, but also in accordance with the fire safety approval (previously obtained).
The next step is to check the minutes (prepared by the manufacturer) for all work with a role in fire safety.
Then check all technical approvals for materials and equipment with a fire safety role to see if they comply with the requirements of the legislation in force.
After all the above steps have been completed, and if it is found that the work performed in the field complies with those steps, then a file will be prepared and will be submitted to the Inspectorate for emergency situations in order to issue the fire safety license.
Based on this file (which includes the previously obtained ISU approval, specialized technical projects, site provisions, minutes, approvals, technical data sheets, etc.) the fire safety license is issued by the Inspectorate for emergency situations.
The fire safety license is an administrative act, issued by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, based on the law, which certifies, following the verifications of the documents regarding the implementation of fire protection measures, the fulfillment of the essential fire safety requirement for constructions, technological installations and other arrangements.
